Universal Studios App
The app serves as a comprehensive digital companion for park visitors, offering features like real-time attraction wait times, interactive maps, mobile food ordering, virtual assistant support, and a digital wallet for seamless ticketing and payments. These enhancements aim to streamline the guest experience, making park navigation and planning more efficient and enjoyable.
Tasked with designing the UI/UX for the Universal Studios app, I created an expanded digital style guide and crafted cohesive web and mobile pages. My UX/UI work included building hundreds of flexible components designed to accommodate a wide range of content types—ensuring consistency, scalability, and ease of use across the platform.
Component Library
Designed flexible components that could adapt to a range of content needs—scaling seamlessly to accommodate images, wait times, attraction details, and custom illustrations, ensuring both consistency and variety within the app UI.
We developed a navigation system to help guests explore the park, equipped with real-time wait times, walking distances, and filters to easily find food, attractions, and vendors.
Every component was carefully reviewed for ADA compliance to guarantee accessibility for all users. The updates made within the mobile app also influenced the broader digital ecosystem, strengthening the web presence and inspiring a refreshed look and feel across social channels as well.
